The Federal Cabinet has approved the formation of an inquiry commission to probe the Broadsheet scandal.

As per the details, the cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday in Islamabad.

According to the sources, the broadsheet scandal was discussed in the meeting. Cabinet agreed to form an inquiry commission of a committee for the investigation.

The commission will be led by the Supreme Court judge, Justice (retd) Sheikh Azmat Saeed.

Sources said that the commission will re-investigate cases involving bigwigs. Cases of important figures such as Rao Sikandar Iqbal and Aftab Ahmed Sherpao will be reopened.
