Acting US Charge d’ Affairs to Pakistan called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), today.

According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest including regional security situation were discussed during the meeting. While discussing cooperation in various domains COAS hoped that Pak- US bilateral relations will be further strengthened under new Administration.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflict prevention in the region and relentless support provided in Afghan Peace Process.

The dignitary also assured of US continued assistance for the common cause of peace in Afghanistan.
