Prime Minister Imran Khan has accepted the resignation of Nadeem Afzal Chan.

According to details, formal notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division approving the resignation.

According to the notification, the resignation of Nadeem Afzal Gondal as Special Assistant has been accepted and the formal notification which has been issued will be effective immediately.

It may be recalled that Nadeem Afzal Gondal was the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Parliamentary Relations.

Prime Minister’s spokesman Nadeem Afzal Chan resigned from his post on Wednesday, some of his colleagues tried unsuccessfully to bring him back to the federal cabinet, but Nadeem Afzal Chan refused, saying he would stand firm on his decision.
