Prime Minister Imran Khan has demanded Election Commission Of Pakistan (ECP) to make public the investigation of party foreign funding case.

While giving an exclusive interview to BOL News’ senior journalists Sami Abraham and Jameel Farooqui, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that We need to learn from China and the United States how they developed.

In a democracy, the Prime Minister is accountable, we will bring meritocracy in Pakistan and will bring the system of across the board accountability, PM said.

PM Khan On Corruption

PM Imran Khan said, “Pakistan has struggled for democracy, the country is in a dark period from 2008 to 2018, in which every institution was subverted.”

The Prime Minister said that Fazlur Rehman is the corrupt man, calling him Maulana is a disgrace, this is the first government to run without diesel.

PEMRA

PM Imran Khan also said that there is no doubt that chairman PEMRA was appointed by putting merit above all else, not only PEMRA there are other institutions as well in which people were appointed without meeting the merit.

“We cannot remove chairman PEMRA due to constitutional restrictions,” he added.

Senate Elections

Talking about the Senate elections, he said, “We are going for the open ballot and PPP’s Raza Rabbani is challenging and opposing the open ballot elections in the senate.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that earlier he was offered Rs 5 crore in horsetrading for senate election.

On the resignation of Nadeem Afzal Chan, he said no one asked him to resign.
