Four militants were killed and two soldiers were martyred and four others were injured in a security operation in Mirali area of ​​North Waziristan.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists opened fire when the compound was cordoned off following reports of the presence of terrorists in a compound.

ISPR said that four terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire. The slain terrorists were involved in kidnapping for ransom and attacks on security forces.

The 42-year-old resident of Chitral Naib Subedar Aminullah and a 24-year-old resident of Landi Kotal Sepoy Sher Zamin embraced martyrdom while four other soldiers sustained injuries during the operation.
