Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday met Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.

As per the details, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest.

Earlier, the premier met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapsa on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing a press conference with his Sri Lankan counterpart said that he was grateful to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka for the invitation and excellent hospitality.

PM Khan highlighted the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its deadly effects the poor countries.

“Poor countries are affected by the coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan has a population of 220 million, we could only give a package of 8 billion dollars, but Pakistan is now fighting against the novel virus.”
