Prime Minister Imran Khan will go for a two-day official visit to Sri Lanka on Tuesday (today).

As per the details, he will meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in Sri Lanka.

He is visiting Sri Lanka at the invitation of Rajapaksa. A high-level delegation, including members of the Cabinet and senior officials, will accompany the premier.

According to details, PM Khan will lead the delegation-level talks, covering all areas of cooperation between the two countries including trade, investment, health, education, agriculture, science & technology, defense, and culture tourism.

Key regional and international issues will also be discussed during the meetings. In addition to these, some MoUs will be signed to boost bilateral cooperation.

Above all, Khan will also take part in a joint ‘Trade and Investment Conference’ aimed at promoting trade and investment between the two countries.

Earlier, the premier thanked Sri Lankan PM for the invitation.
