Three people have been killed and five others have been wounded by a speeding bus in Karachi on Saturday.

A speeding passenger bus killed three people at Future Morr in the Landhi area of Karachi.

Five others have been critically wounded. The wounded ones and the dead bodies have been taken to a nearby medical facility.

Police officials said that the incident has occurred due to brake failure.

Earlier, a bus accident in Uthal (Lasbela District, Balochistan) has taken 14 lives and injured several, BOL News reported on February 2.

According to the details, the accident took place at Sakan near Wayaro Farm when the passenger coach driver lost control of the speeding vehicle.

The deceased include children as well, the rescue officials said.

The bodies and injured have been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Uthal while four patients who are in critical condition have been shifted to Karachi.

The ill-fated passenger coach was en route Karachi from Panjgur, according to the Levies personnel.
