Cambridge O Level/IGCSE exams to start from May 10

Federal Minister Education, professional training, National Heritage and culture Shafqat Mahmood on Monday announced that the Cambridge O Level/IGCSE exams will be started from May 10.

According to the details, the Education Minister took to his Twitter and informed about the letter received from Christine Ozden, CEO Cambridge requesting that O level/IGCSE exam should be allowed to start from May 10 instead of May 15.

He wrote:

I had received a letter from Christine Ozden, CEO Cambridge requesting that O level/IGCSE exam should be allowed to start from May 10 instead of May 15. After consultation with provinces/stakeholders we have agreed. Now O level/IGCSE will start from May 10

The letter stated:

We appreciate the attention you have gven to enabling students in Pakistan to mako PrOgroSs with her education

We discussed a start date for Cambridge 0 Level and !GCSE of the 15″ of May in Pakistan. We would like to ask you now to consider whether we are able to start Cambridge 0 Level and IGCSE from the 10- of May. If we can do this, it will help us to enable many more students to progress and leer equeeeenCe in the education system vise be fairer as they wit have a better chance to demonstrate what they have learnt.
