CNS discuss bilateral collaborations with defence leadership of UAE

Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on Friday discussed matters of bilateral collaborations and regional maritime security with defence leadership of United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi is on official visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was welcomed by Commander UAE Naval Forces at Naval Headquarters and presented with the Guard of Honor.

CNS was given briefing on UAE Navy and visited Shipbuilding Facility, Naval Forces Institute and Ghantout Naval Base at Abu Dhabi.

DGPR Pakistan Navy said that during the visit the Naval Chief called on COS UAE Armed Forces and Commander UAE Naval Forces in separate meetings.

During interactions with dignitaries, matters of bilateral defence collaborations and regional maritime security were discussed.

On the occasion, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted PN’s initiative for maritime security in the region and thanked Commander UAE Naval Forces for participation in Ex AMAN-21.

The dignitaries acknowledged PN’s efforts in support of collaborative maritime security and appreciated successful conduct of Exercise AMAN-21.
