International Women’s Day is being observed today. On this occasion, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed thoughts.

According to Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS has praised women working in forces and women working in other sectors as well.

“Pakistani women contributed immensely for glory & honor of our nation. They are also @ forefront against COVID.”

He added, “Women in uniform have proved their mettle by contributing copiously in diverse fields serving the nation & humanity.”

COAS said in the end that all women deserve appreciation and respect.
