Crown Prince of Bahrain inquires about PM Imran’s Health

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is the Deputy King, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister of Bahrain held a telephonic conversation on Wednesday.

According to the details, Prime Minister Bahrain inquired about the health of his Pakistani counterpart who was tested positive for the novel coronavirus on the 20th of this month.

Both the leaders also discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation.

It may be recalled that Pakistan’s health minister Dr. Faisal Sultan announced that Prime Minister Imran Khan was tested positive for Covid-19.

The 68-year-old is “self-isolating at home”, the minister, Faisal Sultan, tweeted. Imran Khan who became prime minister in August 2018, received his first vaccination two days before he contracted COVID-19.

Recently, the President of Pakistan also confirmed on social media that he tested positive for Covid-19.

Dr Alvi took to Twitter to say

I have tested positive for Covid 19. May Allah have all mercy for the Covid affectees. Had the first dose of vaccine, antibodies start developing after the 2nd dose that was due in a week. Please continue to be careful.
