Following the Election Commission of Pakistan’s response against Imran Khan’s speech, the federal ministers on Friday hoped that the top electoral body will reconsider the matter and play its role in ending horse-trading.

According to the details, the Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry was speaking to the media along with Federal Information Minister Shibli Faraz and Senator-elect Barrister Ali Zafar after the ECP fired back on the PM Imran’s allegation of corruption in Senate elections. The federal ministers expressed displeasure over the response by ECP.

Fawad Chaudhry said that ECP is respectable to us and will remain, however national institutions show their impartiality through practical steps, not through press releases.

Fawad Chaudhry also extended every possible support to the ECP and urged for a joint mechanism devised to stop rigging in the polls.

Federal Information Minister Shibli Faraz said that the whole struggle is against the elites that destroyed the country. No other Prime Minister elected in the country more steadfast than Imran Khan. He added that fingers will be raised when elections are not transparent.
