LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife and first lady Bushra Imran visited a shelter home near Data Darbar.

According to the report, First Lady Bushra Imran inspected the facilities at the shelter. She inquired from the residents of the shelter home about the problems and assured them of an immediate solution.

The first lady inquired about the accommodation facilities and food quality from the people living in the shelter. She also checked the quality of food at the shelter. People thanked Bushra Imran for taking a personal interest in solving the problems.

Bushra Imran directed to further improve the arrangements for accommodation and food in the shelter and said that funds would be provided on a priority basis for the repair of the buildings of the shelter and all kinds of resources would be provided for the maintenance of the buildings.

She said that our government has provided shelter to those who sleep under the open sky. This is not a favour to them but their right. Allah Almighty has also ordered a merciful reward, she added.
