Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz said on Thursday that the victory of Anti-Government Alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) parties in the Senate elections represents the perspective of the nation.

According to the details, while talking to media, the PML-N leader said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ministers will continue to face such kind of defeats if they fail to control inflation and the rising graph on unemployment.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the success of PDM’s joint candidate Yousaf Raza Gilani on Islamabad’s general seat in the Senate polls is the conquest of democracy.

In addition to this, the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz said that the government leaders tell lies and outwit the people with fake promises.

He said that the current rulers of Pakistan should better focus on growth rate which is hitting the negative level and the situation is worsening day by day. Hamza recalled that in the tenure of Pakistan Muslim League (N), the growth rate was recorded 5.5 percent.

Moreover, Hamza said that the opposition parties will decide the future strategy of PDM in a session.

On the other hand, the government will move a summary to the president to summon a new session of the lower house of Parliament for a vote of confidence.

The decision came in the backdrop of an upset in the Senate elections in which Yousaf Raza Gilani won the general seat from Federal Capital against Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh of PTI.
