The Lahore High Court on Wednesday has issued a written order over the hearing on petition seeking ban on bail of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Vice President Maryam Safdar.

According to the details, the verdict remarked that the bail order of Maryam Nawaz could not be suspended immediately. Maryam Nawaz is directed to file a reply to National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request for cancellation of her bail on April 7.

In the written order, the court directed the federal secretary home to also submit a detailed reply to the NAB’s request at the next hearing.

NAB Prosecutor Faisal Bukhari while giving his arguments in the Lahore High Court, maintained that Maryam Nawaz is out on bail on money laundering charges and making statements against state institutions.

The NAB requested the court that Maryam Nawaz did not provide records in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case despite the NAB’s notice, therefore her bail should be canceled.
