Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser on Wednesday discussed electoral reforms on telephone.

According to the details, during the conversation Speaker Asad Qaiser said that the electoral reform is the need of time. He also urged the opposition must fulfill its responsibility in the formation of parliamentary committee on electoral reforms.

Speaking on the occasion, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani  said that cooperation will be extended at utmost level for the conduction of smooth sessions in the senate.

He also said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) strongly believes in parliamentary politics and will play a positive role in electoral reforms.
