Coronavirus cases are surging in Pakistan, the alarming situation has raised concerns as a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will be held today.

As per the details, the meeting will be held to review the coronavirus situation in Pakistan.

Moreover, the NCOC will also decide if smart lockdowns should be imposed in more areas of Pakistan.

Apart from that, the center will also decide about the closure of transport and markets in the affected areas.

After the third wave of coronavirus hits Pakistan, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood showed concern for the students, teachers, and the staff of educational institutions.

He took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote,

“The third coronavirus wave is serious; requires careful review.”
