Pakistan on Wednesday warned against the pillagers speculating to subvert the peace negotiations and prevent a political settlement in Afghanistan.

According to the details, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) appreciated the international efforts re-energize the peace process in Afghanistan.

The envoy called on all sides in the region to work for the peace in Afghanistan as the regional stability depends on the peace in Afghanistan.

The envoy also said that we must guard against those who desire to frustrate a peaceful settlement on the pretext of safeguarding democracy and human rights and to continue to use Afghan territory against its neighbours.

In addition to this, Munir Akram said that Pakistan facilitated the commencement and the conclusion of last year’s US-Taliban Peace talks and the Intra-Afghan Negotiations.
