Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday held a meeting with the Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani and Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi in Islamabad.

According to the details, during the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani and Mirza Afridi on their win and discussed issues related to speeding up the legislative process and parliamentary matters.

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the newly elected Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate to enact effective legislation for the welfare of the people. He said that it is an honor for the leaders of Balochistan and tribal areas to head the upper house.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Balochistan and the tribal areas had been neglected in the past and hoped that the Chairman Senate would continue to fulfill his responsibilities in the same efficient manner.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also extended best wishes to the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate.
