Prime Minister Imran Khan will address a ceremony at the University of Malakand on Friday (today).

As per the details, the premier will reach Malakand today for a day-long visit. He will also visit Swat where he will inaugurate development projects and highways.

On the visit, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman Khan and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan will be with PM Khan.

“Olive plantation will help address climate change & increase exports”

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed hope that olive plantation will help address climate change and increase exports of Pakistan.

He launched an olive plantation campaign in the Nowshera district on Monday (today). Addressing the ceremony, he said that Pakistan spends a lot on the import of edible oil that can be reduced with the production of olive oil locally by planting olive trees particularly on the western bank of the Sindh River.

The premier added that food security a serious challenge for Pakistan as the country imports sugar, wheat, oil, and ghee. He said the fast-growing population adds to this challenge.
