PNS NASR as part of the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) mission to African countries delivered food aid at Niger & Benin during ceremonies held at Cotonou port.

A spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy said in a tweet that the events were attended by Govt & military officials. The dignitaries of both counties thanked Govt of Pakistan & PN for humanitarian assistance.

Mission Cdr & CO of PNS NASR called on Dy Minister for Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Management of Niger & Gen Secretary of MoFA of Benin & CNS of Benin Navy. Mission Cdr conveyed sincere regards from CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi to the people of host countries.

During interactions, matters of mutual interest & bilateral cooperation were discussed. Earlier, upon arrival at Cotonou port, PNS NASR was received by Ambassador of Pak at Niger along with Honorary Consular of Pak, Defence Attache of Pak in Nigeria & host naval officials.
