Prime Minister Imran Khan tests positive for Coronavirus

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Corona test came positive.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health, Faisal Sultan, made the announcement on Twitter.

The Prime Minister is now in quarantine at his home.

Sources said that servants working for the premier have been asked to get their tests done.

His Coronavirus test came positive two days after he received the Corona vaccine dose on Thursday.

The special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan warned that the influx of coronavirus patients in hospitals has been observed.

While addressing the media in Islamabad on Saturday, he warned that the situation could go worse if people continue to violate coronavirus SOPs.

“Currently the hospitals across the country are dealing with the influx of COVID-19 patients,” he said.

Dr. Faisal Sultan also hinted at an increasing number of cases in Punjab. He urged people to completely follow health-related SOPs. He said that it is our responsibility to wear masks in public places. 

On the other hand, the SAPM also informed the media about vaccination, saying people above 70 years can receive the vaccine from anywhere and there is no barrier for them.
