Sindh Rangers and Police in a joint operation on Sunday arrested two most wanted terrorists from Gadap town.

According to the details, in an intelligence based operation, the security officials arrested Abdul Hadi alias Sheikh alias Bashir and Akhtar Ghani from Gadap town.

Spokesperson of Sindh Rangers said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered during the operation.  The arrested terrorists belong to Hizb Ul Tahrir Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

The arrested terrorists were planning a major terrorist attack in Karachi. The accused were also found involved in extortion, robbery and other crimes, said the spokesperson.

In January this year, Sindh Rangers arrested two accused including a most-wanted terrorist belonging to Lyari Gang in two separate raids.

The paramilitary force along with police on intelligence based information nabbed a most-wanted terrorist belonging to Lyari Gang namely Muhammad Ismail who was nominated in number of cases registered against him in different police stations for his involvement in murders, attempt to murders, extortion collection, kidnapping for ransom, drug peddling, police encounters and other heinous crimes.
