“Schools to remain open in Sindh and Balochistan,” says Shafqat Mahmood

Federal Minister Education, professional training, National Heritage and culture Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday announced that schools will remain open in Sindh and Baluchistan with 50 percent attendance every day.

According to the details, the announcement was made by the Federal Minister on his Twitter handle.

Shafqat Mahmood said that:

Important meeting at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) today to review the health situation and take decisions regarding educational institutions. Participated in by Ministers from all the provinces, AJK and GB. Following decisions arrived at.

The Minister said that In Punjab spring break in all education institutions will start from Monday March 15 to March 28 in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad and Gujarat.

He wrote:

Educational Institutions in Sindh and Baluchistan would continue with 50% attendance every day. In Punjab spring break will start from Monday March 15 to March 28 in the following cities and all education institutions: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan

He added that all educational institutions will also close from March 15 in Islamabad, whereas in KP, they will all be closed only in Peshawar.

In Capital territory. In KP they will close in Peshawar. Decision regarding Muzzafarabad will be taken by AJK Government. We will continue to review the situation

All send ups and exams being currently conducted will continue under proper SOPs
