The federal government has been asked by Sindh High Court to fix the price of the Covid-19 vaccine imported by private companies. SHC has given the time of one week.

As per the details, a case was heard regarding the import of one million doses of coronavirus vaccine. Sources said that the counsel of the private company has requested the court to allow them to release consignments of the imported jabs.

Lawyers of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) were inquired by the court why the price of the vaccine has not been fixed and how the vaccines were imported if prices are not set.

Earlier, orders have been placed for the purchase of coronavirus vaccine, said special assistant to the Prime Minister on health Dr. Faisal Sultan.
