Usman Buzdar hints at tighter restrictions in Punjab due to COVID-19

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday appealed to the masses to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) devised by the government to stop the coronavirus virus spread.

According to the details, in a statement today, Usman Buzdar said that the third wave of coronavirus is causing a significant increase in the number of patients. ‘It is in the interest of the citizens to follow government guidelines against coronavirus,’ said the Chief Minister.

He said that ‘Implementing SOPs is the key to protecting health and lives,’ adding that, ‘Make masks a part of your life.’ Taking precautions is the only effective way to deal with the coronavirus, he said.

He added that ‘people from all walks of life must play their effective role in dealing with the coronavirus, as the battle against this dread virus is a collective effort, not individual.’

Usman Buzdar warned that, ‘Restrictions could be tightened to protect the lives of the people.’ Adding that, ‘We will continue to take further steps for the protection of the people.’
