Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said that valiant security forces of Pakistan have given immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

According to the details, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited Armed Forces Institute For Rehabilitation Medicine in Rawalpindi.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister was given a detailed briefing about the Armed Forces Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine.

He also visited different wards of the institute and interacted with the under treatment personnel of the forces.

He commended the medical facilities being provided in the institute.’

During the visit, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with armed forces in the war on terrorism.

It is worth mentioning here that Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov during media briefing on Wednesday said that Moscow and Islamabad will boost ties in the fight against terrorism, with Russia providing unspecified military equipment to Pakistan and the two holding joint exercises at sea and in the mountains.

“We stand ready to strengthen the anti-terrorist potential of Pakistan, including by supplying Pakistan with special military equipment,” Lavrov said.
