Coronavirus Update: Pakistan registers 118 deaths during last 24 hours

Pakistan recorded 118 deaths related to the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours, taking the national death tally to 15,872.

According to the statistic of National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) 5,395 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. With the inclusion of fresh infections the national toll of confirmed cases jumped to 739,818.

So far 7,209 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,533 in Sindh, 2,761 in KP, 625 in Islamabad, 420 in Azad Kashmir, 221 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.

NCOC announces vaccination timings during Ramadan

On the other hand, NCOC has also announced the vaccination timings and details of major vaccination centres for citizens in all the Federating Units during Ramazan.

The vaccination timings of two shifts, during Ramazan, in the four provinces Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are as under.

In Punjab, timings will be from 10 am to 04 pm for the first shift and 09 pm to 01 am for the second shift.

In Sindh, from 09 am to 01 pm and 8:30 pm to 12 midnight.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from 10 am to 02 pm and 10 pm to 01 am.

In Balochistan, from 09 am to 01 pm and 08 pm to 12 midnight.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, from 10 am to 02 pm and 09 pm to 12 midnight.

In the federal capital, from 12 pm (noon) to 04 pm and 08 pm to 12 midnight.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir will observe timings from 09 am to 02 pm for the first shift and 08 pm to 12 midnight for second shift.
