ISPR: Security forces kill TTP terrorist in South Waziristan IBO

Pakistan Army media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday issued a statement over the intelligence based operation (IBO) conducted by the Security Forces in Ladha, South Waziristan, on reported presence of terrorists.

According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an IBO in Ladha area of South Waziristan, on reported presence of terrorists. During intense exchange of fire, ISPR said one terrorist, Peer alias Asad was killed.

ISPR said that the killed terrorist was an active member of TTP since 2006. Detailing more about the killed terrorist, ISPR said that he joined TTP Baitullah Mehsud Group and remained involved in terrorist activities against Security Forces.

After death of Hakeem Ullah Mehsud, he joined Shehryar Mehsud Group, said ISPR.
