Karachi witnessed 36 murders and several other crimes, including a bank robbery, in March.

According to details, the City Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) has issued a shocking report on the March 2021 crime-related incidents in the city of Quaid.

In March, 36 people were killed and a bank was robbed, while three cases of kidnapping for ransom and three cases of extortion were reported, the report said.

The CPLC report said that 21 vehicles were snatched on the roads of Karachi while 131 were stolen.

In March 2021, 426 motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint. In addition, 3,898 incidents of motorcycle theft were reported.

In March, 2,174 mobile phones were also snatched at gunpoint.

The CPLC report states that 10,916 motorcycles were stolen from Karachi in the first quarter of the year. During the same period, 1,055 motorcycles and 5,982 mobile phones were snatched from Karachi residents.

In the first quarter of the year, the citizens of Karachi were deprived of 477 vehicles.
