PM Imran to inaugurate another housing project for the underprivileged

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday will perform the groundbreaking of a housing project in Sargodha.

According to the details, Federal Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain in a series of tweets today informed that Imran Khan will perform the groundbreaking of a housing project in Sargodha.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the project envisages construction of thousands of houses.

Fawad Chaudhry said the banks are providing loans for construction of millions of houses. He said the promise of constructing five million houses is now transforming into a reality.

He pointed out that the cement sale is currently at record level. He said the development journey will continue.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan recently during his one day visit to Lahore performed the groundbreaking of Lahore Development City’s (LDA) Naya Pakistan Apartments.

During his address, Imran Khan said following massive increase in domestic consumption owing to construction activities in the country, cement sector posted the highest ever monthly growth of 44.39 percent in March 2021.

He said that the construction sector is now growing rapidly, said the Prime Minister, adding that, ‘development of various industries is directly linked with the growth of this sector.’

Prime Minister Imran Khan added that the corruption is the biggest threat to the prosperity of country. Adding that the process of automation helps in ending the system of taking bribes. Prime Minister said that Automation is opposed in institutions to corruption.
