The Christian community around the world, including in Pakistan, celebrated Easter with traditional fervour and religious zeal.

On the occasion of Easter, the Christian community in small and big cities of the country attended special services in the churches and also decorated the churches all over Pakistan.

Strict security arrangements were made at all churches in the country during the Christian community’s Easter celebrations.

The Christian community celebrates this religious festival to commemorate the resurrection of Hazrat Esa (Peace Be Upon Him), which Christians believe took place nearly 2000 years ago in Jerusalem.

Similarly, with SOPs around the world, Easter was celebrated in a slightly better way than last year, which was celebrated on a very limited scale last year due to the global Pandemic.
