The daily number of new cases of coronavirus in Pakistan has once again crossed 2,000, with the positivity rate across the country reaching 5.34%.

According to the details, the National Command and Operation Center said that 21 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of deaths from coronavirus reached 22,781.

The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, 2,607 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, bringing the total number of cases of code 19 in the country to 989,275.

The total number of patients recovering from the coronavirus in the country has reached 919,163.

According to the NCOC, 48,816 tests for the coronavirus were carried out in the last 24 hours. So far, 1,53,93,974 tests have been conducted in the country.

The NCOC said that in the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases of coronavirus in the country stood at 5.34%, with 2,508 cases of coronavirus in 631 hospitals across the country in critical condition.

Vaccination status

So far, 1,81,85,297 people in the country have been given one dose of the vaccine while 4,550,696 people have been administered both doses of the vaccine.
