Condemnation of the Home Minister

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in a tweet on a social networking site strongly condemned the incident of firing on a FC vehicle in Balochistan and offered condolences to the family of Shaheed Naik Sharif.

He said that firing on FC vehicle was a very cowardly act but these acts of terrorism could not demoralize our forces.

It should be noted that a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in an exchange of fire with suspected terrorists in South Waziristan yesterday.

Earlier on July 31, two soldiers were martyred and nine others were injured in terrorist attacks on security forces in different parts of the South and North Waziristan tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
