Chairman Senate Mohammad Sadiq Sanjarani left for Iran on a two-day visit to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Iran.

According to the Senate Secretariat, the chairman will reach Mashhad by a special plane on Wednesday.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani will also visit the shrine of Hazrat Imam Raza. The Chairman Senate will represent Pakistan at the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Iran.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has nominated the Chairman Senate to represent Pakistan. The Chairman Senate is expected to hold high-level meetings with the President of Iran and other top political leaders.

Apart from Senators Dilawar Khan, Ahmad Khan and Abdul Qadir, senior officials of the Senate are also accompanying the Chairman Senate. The Chairman Senate will return on August 5, 2021.
