Complaint Filed Against Aamir Liaquat For Lashing Out At Traffic Wardens

PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Husain was booked for reportedly harassing traffic police officials, the video of which went viral on Monday.

ASI Shahid Miran of the traffic section of Ferozabad lodged a report against Aamir Liaquat, who was spotted lashing out at an allegedly corrupt traffic policeman in Karachi.

The complaint was filed at the Ferozabad police station.

 The ASI reported that he and the head constable were on duty when a vehicle arrived at 4:32pm Tuesday evening. Three people came out of the vehicle and started shouting at them.

One of the three people identified himself as MNA Liaquat and shouted at him, “This is my area, what are you guys doing here? Get out of here.”

The PTI MNA said the traffic police officers were not locals and asked to check their ID and vaccine cards.

Upon investigating the vaccine card, he said it was not correct and started violently putting the ASI and head constable inside a car.

The complaint read that Liaquat also cautioned the traffic cops that he could get them fired.

Later, In his tweet, Aamir posted the video of the incident claiming that the traffic police officials were demanding money from people under the excuse of a lockdown.

As the video went to circulate online, some social media users backed him while others opposed him for his foul behaviour towards the cop.
