Four minor girls were allegedly abducted in  Lahore on Monday. A first information report (FIR) of the suspected kidnapping has been issued, according to police, based on a complaint from the father of two of the missing girl.

The complainant claims that his daughters, Anum, 10, and Kaneeza, 11, went out with two girls from their neighborhood to ride the Orange Line Metro Train and have been missing since.

He suspected that they had been abducted by unidentified people.

Following the filing of the FIR, the police started an investigation to track out the girls’ location.

Meanwhile, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) was alerted to the suspected kidnapping of the kids and instructed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)  to investigate the matter.

He directed that a special team has formed and that all available resources will be used to find the missing girls.
