Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) MPA Raja Azhar has written a letter to the Sindh IG and chief minister expressing concern over “missing” of 400 SSU officials including the DIG from Sindh.

Raja Azhar said the commandos were reportedly shifted to Islamabad from Sindh, despite security alert in the province which was concerning. He said in current circumstances the police force should perform duty in Sindh.

He asked the provincial government to explain that under what law the police force was sent to provide security to the Sindh House in Islamabad.

“The CM and IG will be responsible, if a terrorist incident takes place in Karachi. The officials should be immediately shifted to Karachi for peace of the megalopolis,” he said.
