Security forces kill three terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed three terrorists during an intelligence based operation in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan.

The media wing of armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

“These terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces,” said the ISPR.

On March 30, a fire exchange had taken place between security forces and terrorists in Makin, South Waziristan District, the military media wing had said.

According to the ISPR, troops had responded in a befitting manner and killed four terrorists.

However, during an intense exchange of fire, Captain Saad Bin Amir (age 25 years, resident of Rawalpindi) and Lance Naik Riaz (age 37 years, resident of Tank), having fought gallantly, had embraced shahadat.
