Karachi: Jazlan, a 19-year-old boy, was brutally murdered by Irfan, a few days ago, and the police have been unable to apprehend the accused since then.

Netizens took advantage of the opportunity and launched a hashtag campaign across social media to bring justice to Jazlan.
The trend #justiceforjazlan has opened the eyes of many renowned activists, politicians, and the Sindh Government.

Jazlan’s family and friends held a peaceful protest against his murder at Expo Center, Hassan Square. The crowd gathered in great numbers.

Patron of JDC Syed Zafar Abbas joined the peaceful protest and demanded the higher authorities bring Justice to Jazlan.

Zafar Abbas talked to the media and said, “Today another youngster was killed brutally. I request the government to play part in arresting the accused as soon as possible. Jazlan was an educated guy. He was forced to stop and shot dead.”

Jazlan’s family and friends carried placards in his support and chanted slogans demanding that the Irfan accused be apprehended as soon as possible.

Iqbal Sandh, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh and President of the Pakistan People’s Party District East, paid his condolences to Jazlan’s family earlier today.

He assured Jazlan’s parents that the PPP and the Sindh government are with them.

We will do everything we can to ensure that justice is served and that the accused is apprehended. Police have been assigned a task and will ensure that the perpetrator is detained by police as soon as possible.
