The Ministry of Industry and Commerce released an official report on the performance of the ‘Qeemat Punjab’ app.

The Qeeqmat Punjab app turned out to be effective to stop price hiking in public, says the report.

In the new app, there were 61,813 cases reported of price hikes and other miscellaneous complaints.

As per details, the public’s objections were addressed, and steps were taken in around 61,629 cases. The offenses resulted in a staggering penalty of over ten crore rupees.

The spokesperson to the ministry says that a huge number of people are downloading the Qeemat Punjab app on the daily basis, and are taking full privilege of it.

According to the report, the prices of vegetables, fruits, and other key commodities are adjusted regularly. Information on the goods is also provided to assist the public.
