Shehbaz Sharif vows to turn nation’s nuclear power into an economic power

Youm-e-Takbir is a day to commemorate with zeal and passion the historic nuclear tests at Chagai on May 28, 1998. Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to turn the nation’s nuclear power into an economic power.

Shehbaz Sharif shared a message on a social networking site, where he issued a special message to the nation on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir. He praised PML-N Chairman Nawaz Sharif’s dedication toward atomic power and said that Pakistan was made a nuclear power during Nawaz’s tenure and promised that now his government will turn Pakistan into economic supremacy.

The Prime Minister added that 24 years ago, on May 28, Pakistan became the first nuclear power in the Islamic world which was possible because Nawaz Sharif brought it to completion. He also thanked all those who played part in making the defence invincible.

 

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also released a national anthem in this regard, which aims to highlight the significance of this day. Whereas Prime Minister had already announced ten days of celebrations on the completion of 24 years of nuclear tests.
