A special meeting was called upon in the Balochistan Assembly for a no-confidence motion against the house leader in the Provincial Assembly.

The deputy speaker of the Balochistan Assembly has ruled out the motion as the opposition had no actual numbers. The opposition needed a coalition of 13 members but they only had 11 members by their side.

To date, no Chief Minister has faced an NCM in Balochistan. For a second time, the NCM has been submitted by the opposition to continue further.

Political turmoil is at the top of the province as from the last 49 years of parliamentary history in the province, only one CM has completed his tenure.

Mir Taj Jamali, Sardar Akhtar Khan Mengal, Nawab Sana Ullah Zehri, Jam Kamaal, and current CM Abdul Quddus Bazinjo would have faced the no-confidence move against him.

Most of the previous Chief Ministers favored resigning from their seats instead of facing an NCM.

Abdul Quddus Bazinjo was the one who put forward the NCM against the two previous Chief Ministers, and now he’s facing the same consequences.

Reports said that Abdul Qudus Bazinjo will keep the tradition of stepping down from the seat as the previous Chief Ministers did.
