WASHINGTON: United States President Joseph Biden meets the ambassador of Pakistan Masood Khan in the White House during an event to discuss strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries, BOL News reports.

The Pakistani ambassador posed for a photo with US President Joe Biden, a custom at the White House. Other countries’ ambassadors were also present at the ceremony to take pictures with the president.

Masood Khan reached Washington DC on March 25, and the chief of protocol received the credentials from the newly appointed ambassador and was designated as the Pakistani ambassador to the US. President Joe Biden on April 19, formally ratified the credentials of Ambassador Masood Khan of Pakistan.
