• Since its publishing date, Jemima Goldsmith’s script “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” has been the talk of the town.
• The film, starring Sajal Aly, Shabana Azmi, Lily James, and Shahzad Latif, will hit theatres on January 27th, 2023.
• The first look image from the film, set in London and South Asia, shows Shazad Latif and Lily James.

The rom-com comedy follows documentary filmmaker Zoe, played by Lily James, for whom swiping right to find Mr. Right has only resulted in bad dates and intriguing stories, much to the chagrin of her obstinate mother Cath.

For her childhood friend and neighbour Kazim (Latif), the answer is to follow his parents’ lead and enter into an arranged marriage with a lovely Pakistani bride.

As Zoe records Kazim’s hopeful journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger chosen by his parents, she begins to question if a new way to finding love might teach her anything.

Shahid Khan, better known as Naughty Boy, a British-Pakistani chart-topping music producer, will offer his production and composition abilities to “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the international celebrity and iconic Qawwali singer, has also recorded two songs for the rom-soundtrack, com’s one of which is named ‘Mahi Sohna.’
