PESHAWAR: On Thursday, the Afghan Consul General Hafiz Mohibullah expressed his gratitude to the people of Pakistan and the charitable organizations in Pakistan for their assistance to the people of Afghanistan who were affected by the recent devastating earthquake.

At the event that was being organized to give over donations and monies that had been gathered by businesspeople for the earthquake victims of Afghanistan, he was giving a speech.

At the event, there were representatives present from the Sarafa and Jewelers’ Association, the Currency Exchange Association, and several commercial organizations, all of which told the Afghan people that they would provide whatever assistance that they could.

Following the devastating earthquake that struck Afghanistan, he expressed his gratitude to Pakistan for its expression of deep sorrow over the loss of human life, prompt aid with humanitarian efforts, and support.

The Afghan CG extended his gratitude to the businesspeople and people of Peshawar for their assistance in the collecting of monetary donations intended to assist brothers who were waiting for assistance in the country that borders Afghanistan.
