KASUR: Two suspects were arrested by the Punjab Police for stealing money from a Chinese national through a scam on Tuesday, BOL news reported.   

According to the report, the Chinese national Sun-Gongping-Anhui reported the money theft to the Mustafaabad Police Station, where the SHO and police personnel rushed to the scene to apprehend the culprits. Sun-Gongping communicated with the police by using Google Translate and claimed that he was here to travel and have fun.  

The Chinese national told BOL News that two unknown suspects brought him to Mustafa Abad canal bank to show him the wonders of the place as a tour guide. The accused snatched his bag, which included three lakh rupees in Pakistani currency and other documents. The thieves fled after stealing the bag. 

As per the details, with the help of CCTV cameras, Mustafaabad police managed to find the accused location. The police traced the CCTV shreds of evidence and arrested the accused from the Kotradhakshan area and recovered the looted bag of the Chinese national.

SHO Mustafaabad Ali Akbar returned the money to the Chinese National While receiving the money, Sun-Gongping-Anhui also raised slogans in favor of the Punjab Police and said ‘Punjab Police Zindabad in his language.
