ISLAMABAD: To aid the affectees of the recent flooding, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established a relief fund and made a heartfelt plea to the public, particularly the philanthropists, to assist the people who had been afflicted by the floods in a kind manner, BOL News reported.

While indicating the harm caused by the unprecedented rainfall, he added that there had been an incredible amount of destruction in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab had all suffered massive amounts of loss as a result of the flooding.

Despite the challenging state of the economy, according to the Prime Minister, the government has made an immediate donation of five billion rupees to help those who have been affected by the flood.

He stated that there is a necessity to support the brothers, sisters, and children who have been hit by the flood with the spirit of “Ansar-i-Madina.”

The Prime Minister’s Relief Fund 2022 Account No. ‘G-12164’ is where monetary help for those who have been affected by the floods can be donated.

The federal government has already announced a state of emergency in the districts that have been ravaged by the floods.
