ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions court issued a detailed verdict in the bail case of Pakistan Tehkreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati.

The six-page court order maintained that after recording the evidence in the trial, the purpose of the tweet and the intention of the petitioner will be proved.

The court also said that the accused is 74 years old and has no previous criminal record, he was sent behind the bars without further investigation.

On the other hand, the petitioner’s counsel said that the case against Azam Swati was framed on the basis of political opponents, which is based on malice.
